WALKTHROUGHS

Walkthroughs: Text

Mt. Sandy Louis

Walkthroughs: Text

Here is an example of one of my ski resorts created in SketchUp.

To create it I took assets from the 3D Warehouse, then I combined the assets to create a ski resort. To create the slopes I used (mainly) the pencil tool (which creates point to point straight lines).

In the resort:

  • there are 5 ski lifts in which all 5 are chairlifts, two of them are express 4 seaters, one an express 6-seater, one fixed 4-seater and one fixed 2-seater

  • there will be a new gondola and chairlift in the future

  • there are lots of easy runs and only a few hard ones

  • there is a ski lodge (which I found on the 3D Warehouse and combined two to create a longer one)

  • this resort is near Beckford.

Hill House Junction

Walkthroughs: Text

This is a made-up junction in fictional England created in SketchUp.

The junction was created with assets from the 3D Warehouse and the pencil tool.

I have included the following junctions:

  • British roundabout junction (only found in the UK)

  • 3-level stacked interchange (in some countries the roundabout is above or below the roads)

  • there are also two T-junctions (side road junctions from the main road (the road that is not giving way))

It includes the following signs:

  • two parking signs

  • a roundabout sign created by me

  • 3 bus stop signs

  • a roundabout chevron sign

  • give way signs (you have to give way, unlike a stop sign you don't have to stop first, to oncoming traffic)

  • a bus and local access only sign.

The lighting I have used is Phillips Idriums.
